The majestic Red Deer stags of the Scottish Highlands have long been associated with royalty and indeed a stag with 12 points on its antlers is known as a "royal". Using a little known highland liqueur known as ‘Stags Breath’ we have this lovely fruity cocktail with a colour reminiscent of Scottish heather and red deer. Ginger beer for a little heat, apple and cherry for the fruity base as well as the honeyed and spiced Stags breath makes this a lovely sipper.
