All prints are printed on Tintoretto gesso 300gsm paper and finished in an iced white textured mount, however a frame is not included.

Each ‘Sea Treasure’ has been carefully hand-drawn in fine liner pen with watercolour added for a touch of colour. The artwork is then scanned in to the computer where I created the design.

These prints are perfect for anyone who loves the coast, loves collecting their own sea treasure or needs a reminder of the sea in their home.

The name ‘Scabby Man’s Head’ is what I grew up calling these, most Shetlanders know sea urchin’s as a variation of this, some say ‘Scaddy man’s head’ or ‘heid' - I think it depends on whereabout in Shetland you are from!
